Dear Mrs. Paya,
Please accept my condolences for the tragic and untimely death of your husband Oswaldo Paya.
I shall cherish the memory of an honest man, brave patriot and a resolute freedom fighter and of the warm atmosphere of your house back in 2008.
His vision of a democratic Cuba will stay and will be surely an inspiration for many followers.
God bless his soul and give you strength in your grief.

Por favor, acepte mis condolencias por la trágica e inesperada muerte de su esposo, Oswaldo Payá.
Conservaré la memoria de un hombre honesto, gran patriota y firme luchador por la libertad de su pueblo, así como el cálido recibimiento que nos dio en su casa en 2008.
Su visión de una Cuba democrática permanecerá y será una indudable fuente de inspiración para sus numerosos seguidores.
